For sale: a Beam Echo Avantic DL7-35 valve power amplifier, manufactured in England by Beam Echo Ltd. The model name on the amplifier is correct: Avantic DL7-35. This is a British high-fidelity power amplifier from the mid-1950s and uses a classic valve output stage.
The amplifier is fitted with its exposed valve layout and large output/power transformer enclosure, giving it the unmistakable appearance of early high-end valve equipment. The rear panel carries loudspeaker connections with selectable 4Ω / 8Ω / 16Ω impedance.
This particular unit is configured for 110V operation, so a suitable step-down transformer is required when used on 230V mains.
