a vintage Bleeker – Decade Resistance Box, manufactured by Dr. C.E. Bleeker N.V. in Zeist, Holland.
This is a precision laboratory resistance box with multiple selectable resistance decades. Bleeker produced this type of measuring equipment for laboratory, educational and technical use, and similar units are documented from roughly the 1940–1960 period.
The unit is housed in a substantial wooden case with a dark green exterior and black top panel. Its large rotary selectors and individual terminals give it a very distinctive vintage laboratory appearance.
