This Heathkit MGP-1 is an open-chassis electronic unit featuring a large laminated transformer, a vacuum tube, a multi-section electrolytic capacitor and additional components mounted on a metal enclosure.
The chassis has a distinctly vintage appearance, with exposed components and a straightforward construction typical of early electronic equipment.
It features two connections labelled Output 1 and Output 2, along with a hum balance adjustment and a fuse holder.
