The 4000DS is a four-track, two-channel stereo tape recorder designed for reels up to 7 inches in diameter. Featuring a robust mechanical construction, three separate tape heads and a straightforward control layout, this machine offers a traditional analogue recording and playback experience.
Its single-motor tape transport combines a four-pole induction motor with a substantial flywheel to maintain stable tape movement and minimise speed fluctuations during operation.
