For sale: an original AMEK Virtual Dynamics PCB, marked HM7897B and SUB787.
This is a specialist console electronics board from AMEK’s Virtual Dynamics system. The board is densely populated with the original analogue and digital circuitry, including multiple SSM2110 devices, TL072 op-amps, DACs, Intel P80C32 processors and EPROMs labelled Virtual Dynamics Version 1.0b, dated 27/1/92.
AMEK’s Virtual Dynamics system was used in its higher-end mixing consoles to provide digitally controlled analogue dynamics such as compression, limiting, gating and expansion.
Used in AMEK Mozart, AMEK Hendrix, AMEK Rembrandt en de AMEK Recall.
