The Dual 1225 (produced around 1973–1974) and the later Dual CS 1225-1 (1976–1978) are classic, fully automatic turntables with an idler drive from Germany.

Service Performed:

Various complaints, malfunctions present in the device. Start and Stop did not work, turntable arm did not move to the record - Cleaned, all malfunctions repaired

Specs:

• Drive type: Idler drive with a 4-pole asynchronous motor (some early variants had a 2-pole motor)
• Speeds: 33⅓ and 45 rpm
• Pitch control: Adjustable approx. 1 half tone (approx. 6%) at both speeds

Tonearm and cartridge

• Cartridge holder (Headhell): Removable, suitable for all 1/2-inch mount cartridges weighing 2 to 10 grams (often supplied from the factory with a Dual DMS 210 magnetic cartridge)
• Additional features: Built-in anti-skating, viscous damped arm lift (cue control), and fully automatic start/stop (including record changer function with a long center axis)
